Hi, I’m Chloe. Welcome to my page!
My name is Chloe (Yihan) Huang, a current Ph.D. student in Information Systems & Management at Heinz College, Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). I am very fortunate to be advised by Prof. George Chen and Prof. Rema Padman. My research interests lie in developing trustworthy machine learning methods to address real-world problems and improve social welfare. My recent work focuses on the healthcare domain.
I earned a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Management (Data Analytics Track) from Heinz College at CMU with highest distinction. Before joining CMU, I graduated from Renmin University of China with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and, through a joint program, earned another Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management from KEDGE Business School (France). As part of the program, I spent a year in Bordeaux, France. It was an unforgettable experience where I also had the opportunity to conduct research under the guidance of Prof. Edward Sun.
